FREEFLY 950-00147 Overview
Specifically designed for aerial mapping missions, the LR1 Camera Payload for Astro from FREEFLY includes a 3-axis gimbal pre-installed with a 61MP Sony ILX-LR1 camera and Sigma 24mm mapping lens. A USB drive is also included to handle saving of your geotagged images. The entire gimbal mounts easily onto the Astro via FREEFLY's Smart Dovetail connection using an optional Astro Isolator. When connected, you get both power and data transmission to either a ground station controller or LTE network. The communication to your Astro Pilot Pro controller allows for the altering of camera settings, gimbal control, and image preview. The lens can be swapped if desired and the included travel case has a foam insert with room for two additional lenses, giving you flexibility when on a shoot.
