ENTTEC EMU Hardware Interface Overview
Designed for live musicians and touring acts, the EMU Hardware Interface from ENTTEC is a fixture that runs automated and audio-responsive light shows for stunning live performances. Set up the EMU quickly with the included software to pre-program light sequences. Small and lightweight enough for travel, the interface runs on USB-C power and has 512 DMX output channels. Using an internal convection cooling system, the device sustains long runtimes and prevents overheating. The interface features a 1/4" TRS jack for a customizable dual footswitch or MIDI integration with an etherCON RJ45 and DHCP server. The integrated opto-isolation feature protects your computer from stray voltage or phantom power from missed DMX lines. The device includes a rail mount and screws for easy mounting.
- MIDI/Footswitch Input: The 1/4" TRS jack offers MIDI or footswitch integration to directly manage and control your lights during each performance.
- LED Status Indicator: Uniquely shaped with a glowing quality, this status indicator uses different colors to visually reference the device's status.
- Power and Data Input: Powered with a USB-C port, this input also receives EMU software data to manage light control directly from your computer.
- DMX512 Control: With 3-pin and 5-pin XLR female connectors, these ports can control DMX features, including dimmer packs, LED spots, scanners, moving heads, and lasers with 512 output channels.
