Eastwind Audio SGMF-12SH Overview
The Eastwind Audio Foam Windscreen for Shotgun Microphones is designed to slide over the shotgun microphone's interference tube vents and provide reliable protection from light wind noise outdoor. It is also effective at minimizing the swoosh effect of boom cueing and HVAC airflow noises indoors. This version of the windscreen fits any microphone with standard bore diameter of 0.7 to 0.9" and has an internal length of 4.7".
Made from premium quality open-cell polyurethane acoustic foam in a classic windscreen shape, the Foam Windscreen is resistant to the effects of moisture and UV for outdoor applications.
Note: To be effective, this windscreen needs to cover the entire length and all vents on the microphone.
