DupliM 130108 Overview
The 1:1 SSD/HDD Copy Tower from DupliM is a standalone drive duplicator that can create one hard drive or solid-state drive copy from a single source. It can also simultaneously wipe up to two drives, including a 1-pass wipe, a 3-pass wipe with verify, or a DoD 5220.22-M 7-pass wipe, which meets the criteria of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) 800-88.
This unit has been built with two 3.5" SATA drive bays, with one drive serving as a source drive and the other as the target drives. Data transfer speeds max out at 300 MB/s and 2.5" drives are supported using separately sold adapters.

Secure Erase and Overwrite Sanitization
Responsible organizations and individuals understand that the sensitive, private data on their disposed or redeployed hard disk drives are vulnerable if those drives are not properly sanitized. The 1:1 SSD/HDD Copy Tower offers independently verified overwrite sanitization, as well as Secure Erase. Secure Erase is a National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-88 accepted technique for properly purging hard drives. This method is supported by almost all modern SATA hard disk drives.
