CyberPower PR2000RTXL2UC Overview
CyberPower brings high-tech power protection and battery backup together with the PR2000RTXL2UC Smart App Sinewave Rack/Tower Convertible UPS. This UPS system is versatile as it can be installed vertically or horizontally, which allows for easier accommodation of devices connected to the eight NEMA 5-20R outlets. If power loss occurs, you can properly shut down your network devices as all outlets can receive up to 4.5 minutes of power, while four outlets can receive up to 12.2 minutes.
This UPS system offers battery backup as well as surge protection. CyberPower ensures this protection with a $400,000 connected equipment guarantee alongside a three-year warranty. CyberPower has also equipped this UPS system with emergency power-off functionality, remote management capabilities, an LCD panel, automatic voltage regulation, and other relevant features that make this UPS system a solid choice for individuals who want premier protection.
Battery backup supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails, helping prevent loss of data and minimizing the component stress caused by a hard shutdown. This model accepts the BP48VP2U02 Extended Battery Module (EBM) for expanded runtime during power outages.
Line-Interactive Topology
This exists when a line-interactive UPS has an autotransformer that regulates low voltages and over voltages without having to switch to battery.
Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Clean, consistent AC power is provided by automatically increasing low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations.
Battery Equalization Technology
Battery Equalization is an advanced charging process that maintains the voltages of the batteries at the same level to increase battery life.
Rotatable Multifunction LCD Panel
The LCD panel tilts to provide a better viewing angle when the Smart App Sinewave is mounted low. It also rotates 90° when placed in a tower format for horizontal viewing. Information is provided on 47 different settings that include UPS status, UPS setup and control management, and testing options.
Toolless Battery Panel Access
Battery replacement is fast and simple. The faceplate features side latches for easy removal, and captive screws can be loosened by hand to open the battery cover.
This UPS system can be used with CyberPower's full-featured network management card, the RMCARD205. With this, you can remotely manage, monitor, and control CyberPower UPS systems via a standard web browser, command line interface, or network management system connection.
Excess voltage is diverted away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to prevent damage.
GreenPower UPS Bypass Design
This patented design allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer, when AC power is stable, which reduces energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup.
Fast charge technology allows UPS batteries to return to full capacity more rapidly by using a built-in charger inside of each UPS or EBM.
