Crestron Extender 2000 Overview
Create point-to-point signal extension for uncompressed 4K video signals with this Crestron Extender 2000. The transmitter and receiver pair feature HDBaseT connectivity, linking via a Cat 5e or higher twisted-pair cable to extend AV, USB 2.0, RS-232, IR, and Ethernet signals. The system supports video resolution up to 4K60 with 4:2:0 color sampling and 4K30 with 4:4:4 color sampling, as well as Deep Color and 3D video.
The receiver and transmitter sport a variety of input and output ports, and when connected by a Crestron DigitalMedia Ultra Cable, can send and receive 4096 x 2160 DCI 4K signals up to 330'. Compact in design, the system is ideal for use with a UHD display and USB camera to extend the AV signals from a computer, central equipment cabinet, or Crestron Mercury Tabletop Conference System. Power is supplied to the receiver from the included 24 VDC power pack and sent to the transmitter via the HDBaseT PoE connection.
