Crestron DisplayPort Male to HDMI Male Overview
Convert a DisplayPort source to an HDMI output signal with the DisplayPort to HDMI Active Cable from Crestron. This cable features a male DisplayPort input and a male HDMI Type-A output that supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 color sampling at 24 bits, or 4:2:2 color sampling at 36 bits. Also supported is an 18 Gb/s minimum TMDS bandwidth, HDCP 2.2, bus power via DisplayPort, HBR audio passthrough, and EDID (Extended Display Identification Data), a standard data format that allows a display device to communicate its capabilities, such as like resolution, refresh rate, and color space to a video source, ensuring optimal video and audio output.
Please note this cable is one-way directional and will only convert DisplayPort to HDMI. It may not be used in reverse to convert HDMI to DisplayPort.
