C2G Mini DisplayPort Male 1.2a to HDMI Female Overview
Split screens with the Mini DisplayPort 1.2 to Dual HDMI MST 4K Hub from C2G. Featuring a male Mini DisplayPort 1.2 and two female HDMI ports, this hub is designed to connect two HDMI monitors to a single Mini DisplayPort 1.2 output on a video card. Capable of supporting two 3840 x 2160 4K displays with 30 Hz refresh rates, the hub can alternatively supply a single 3840 x 2160 4K display with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the C2G Mini DisplayPort 1.2 Hub supports Single Stream Transport and Multi Stream Transport, or SST and MST, respectively. This compatibility allows older SST or MST monitors to work with the C2G adapter's DisplayPort connections with an appropriate, optional adapter. Having a max bandwidth of up to 5.4 Gb/s, this hub also supports 7.1-channel surround sound. Requiring 5V at 2A or 10W of power, this adapter may need additional external power through the integrated female micro-USB port, depending on the connected source device.
