The 4x1 UHD 8K HDMI 2.1 Switcher with Signal Generator from BZBGEAR features four HDMI 2.1 inputs and one HDMI 2.1 output to facilitate HDR video content display. Suitable for residential and commercial applications, the unit's HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision compatibility enables you to view your HDR content in rich, full detail. It supports up to 8K60 and 4K120 resolutions and features a signal generator. It can also extract audio for output via its optical or analog ports for speakers and audio systems.
Applications
The switcher features extensive compatibility, effortlessly supporting HD, 4K, 4K120, and 8K60 resolutions to connect gaming consoles, PCs, or 8K TVs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across all your devices. The EDID dip switches also enable users to set the image and audio formats.
8K HDR Compatibility
The switcher supports video resolutions up to 8K60 YCbCr 4:2:0 12-bit and 4K120 RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4 12-bit as specified in HDMI 2.1. It is also compatible with HDR video, including support for HDR, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, ALLM, and VRR passthrough for vivid image quality.
Audio Support and De-Embedding
This unit features an audio de-embedding function that extracts audio from HDMI sources and outputs through optical and analog ports. It is compatible with numerous HDMI audio formats, including LPCM, Dolby Digital/Plus/EX, Dolby True HD, DTS, DTS-EX, DTS-96/24, DTS High Res, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DSD.
IR, Front Panel, and CEC Control
There are versatile control options, enabling effortless input switching via the front panel button or the included IR remote controller. For added convenience, this unit features advanced auto-switching technology, ensuring a seamless user experience.
This 4-port switcher also features CEC passthrough control from the TV to the source, allowing volume control from the TV to any eARC sound system. An eARC on/off button is on the front panel.
