The cardioid pattern rejects noises to the rear and side of the mic, ensuring clear communication. Each mic has a maximum line-of-sight wireless range of 70'. The microphone sports a stereo 3.5mm TRS aux input for transmitting external audio sources as part of the class discussion. The mic also features a micro-USB port for charging and programming.
