Its XML LED emits 940nm light that's invisible to humans and sea life but provides illumination for photography with an infrared-sensitive camera. Power is provided by a rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery, which gives the light a runtime of 2-20 hours, depending on the brightness level. The AL1200WP-IR's wide 85° beam lights the while scene in front of you. Built for durability, especially resistance to corrosion, the housing is made of anodized aluminum. The light is controlled by a side-mounted push-button switch.
