It brings video to life in a way that spherical (non-anamorphic) lenses cannot. This lens works by squeezing the image horizontally at a factor of 1.55x to record a higher resolution onto the sensor. The image is then de-squeezed in real time using an app, or during post-production. The result is a 2.76:1 aspect ratio for videos and 2.35:1 / 21:9 for photos. Included are front and rear lens caps, a microfiber carrying pouch, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.
