AudioControl Bijou 5100D Overview
The Bijou 5100D Five-Channel Integrated Amplifier with Line-Level Subwoofer Output and Dante Audio from AudioControl represents a powerful home theater amp option, with GaN (Gallium Nitride) semiconductor technology turbocharging the unit into a workhorse.
Dolby Atmos and DTS surround modes are decoded through the HDMI eARC input, with onboard power for surround channels. Dante audio creates a fourth input, fetching any audio source from a Dante network, providing the Bijou 5100D with uncompressed, near-zero latency multi-room capabilities. Unlike traditional larger audio-video receivers, the 5100D can be discreetly installed behind large flat-panel displays. Digital conversion is accomplished by a high-quality internal 384 kHz/ 32-bit DAC with 106 dB signal-to-noise ratio and a Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise (THD+N) rating of 0.0015%. A line-level subwoofer output round out the simple-to-operate and versatile home theater audio playback system.
