Designed for DITs, colorists, filmmakers, and video editors, the ProArt Display PA24US 23.6" 4K HDR Monitor from ASUS delivers highly accurate colors that bring out the finest details in your creations. It offers. It's factory calibrated and works with most major calibrators as well as Calman and Light Illusion ColorSpace CMS compatible with a Delta E color accuracy rating of less than 1. It covers 100% of the sRGB, 99% of the Adobe RGB, and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamuts and is built with an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel for vivid colors, which are backed by 10-bit support for 1.07 billion colors and HDR support that includes HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). Furthermore, it has a UHD 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a 350 nits typical brightness and a 600 nits peak brightness in HDR mode, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, a 5 ms (GtG) response time, and wide 178? viewing angles. Visuals are further enhanced with Adaptive-Sync and VRR, both of which reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts from fast-action scenes when using a compatible graphics card.

Connectivity options include USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 with DisplayPort and 80W of power delivery, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and 12G-SDI that can transit and receive uncompressed video up to 4K/60 Hz. A built-in USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 hub also lets users easily plug-in USB devices and peripherals for quick access, while audio may be output using the dual 2W speakers or 3.5mm headphone jack.

With this flexibility, you can achieve color consistency virtually anytime and anywhere.

ProArt Calibration

ASUS ProArt Calibration technology saves all color parameter profiles on the ProArt monitor's internal scaler IC chip, instead of on your system. The monitor can be calibrated and the look-up table subsequently rewritten, allowing users to connect it to devices with different operating systems or applications without needing to adjust settings.

ProArt Calibration support will be ready in a 2023/Q4 via firmware update.

ProArt Color Center

ProArt Color Center offers remote group control and calibration tools, allowing you to handle these vital tasks from a centralized location. You'll be able to remote control & group calibrate, plus schedule calibrations and customized color parameters to maintain professional-level accuracy and consistency.

Seamless Calibration

High Color Fidelity

Each ProArt display is factory pre-calibrated using a three-scale process to guarantee accurate color fidelity. The display then undergoes stringent testing using ASUS advanced grayscale tracking technology to ensure smoother color gradations, better uniformity, and high color accuracy with a Delta E < 1 color difference value. Each grayscale level is also carefully measured and set to ensure compliance with the precise DICOM standard for medical use.

ASUS Smart HDR Technology

ASUS Smart HDR technology enables the ProArt Display PA24US to support multiple HDR formats, including HLG and HDR10. HLG allows users to view and create material for broadcast and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV, and DirecTV. HDR10 support ensures compatibility with existing streaming video services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games.

Multiple PQ Curves

ASUS ProArt Displays support multiple HDR10 curves, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized and PQ Basic, which can cover all content creation needs.

PQ Hard Clip
This setting preserves the PQ curve until it displays maximum luminance. Anything brighter will be mapped to the maximum luminance of the display.

PQ Optimized
This PQ curve setting reproduces accurate gradations that correspond to the maximum brightness of the monitor to deliver optimized HDR performance.

12G-SDI Connectivity

SDI (Serial Digital Interface) is a professional video signal that's preferred in production environments, providing longer distance without video compression with reliability. A BNC-type cable that has specialized connectors on each end to lock into the devices they connect to, so it cannot be easily dropped or pulled out.

Compared with general 3G-SDI, 12G-SDI provides up to 4x the bandwidth and allows both receiving and transmitting uncompressed video up to 4K/60 Hz video footage directly from camera devices with ultra-low latency.

Connect to Your Workflow

Rich connectivity offers a full-function USB-C port that enables fast data transfers, video signals, and 80W of power delivery to charge laptops and other devices, all using a single cable. There are also one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 for compatibility with current and future displays and peripherals, plus two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
