The ART Solo MPA is a versatile single-channel microphone preamplifier that offers a unique blend of clean solid-state transparency and warm tube saturation. Designed for recording engineers, musicians, and producers, it delivers flexible tone shaping with intuitive controls and an all-analog signal path. Whether you need pristine clarity, rich saturation, or something in between, the Solo MPA provides the flexibility to shape your sound. Housed in a durable 1 RU rackmount chassis with a CNC-milled aluminum faceplate, it is built for reliable operation in both studio and live environments.

The Voice control allows seamless blending between a low-noise, solid-state circuit and a Class-A tube preamp, giving you complete control over the character of your signal. Fine-tune your tone further with the Tilt EQ, which balances highs and lows, and the sweepable Low-Cut filter to remove unwanted rumble and tighten the low end.

With variable microphone impedance (600 ohms to 80 kilohms), the Solo MPA lets you tailor the preamp's response to match any mic, from dynamic and condenser models to ribbon microphones. Built-in 48V phantom power ensures compatibility with studio-grade condensers.

The front-panel High-Z instrument input allows the Solo MPA to double as a direct box for guitars and basses, automatically switching inputs when a 1/4" jack is inserted. A VU meter with adjustable trim provides clear visual feedback, while controls for input and output gain, phase reversal, and a 20 dB boost give you precise command over your signal.
