Adder AS-4CR Overview
Expand your system control with the Secure 4-Port Card Reader from Adder. This card reader operates independently from any computer switches in use and connects to your host computers via the four UBS-A 2.0 connections. When connected, you can use one smart card to log on to four different computers simultaneously.
The four LED status buttons tell you which computer is connected, identify switching between your connections, and associate and de-associate your smart card from a particular computer. With both a KVM switch and this card reader connected, there is no need to reauthenticate when you switch channels. Adder has designed this card reader to be secure as no card or user data is accessible to the reader, meaning no data can pass between connected computers. Additionally, the reader is ISO7816 compliant with an NIAP protection profile 4.0 design and a tamperproof design that uses a holographic tamper-evident label for additional security.
