Use the Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 Base Kit to add mounting points to your Sony Rialto and Rialto 2 cine cameras and customize your gear configuration. The base kit includes a sliding top plate, left- and right-side plates, a split riser for a separately available 15mm baseplate, and a cheese-style top handle. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads throughout and four captive screws allow you to attach the components to one another and add fill lights, battery plates, and secondary monitors with ease. Two channel slots make for efficient and protected cable runs.

Bright Tangerine Sliding Top Plate for Sony Rialto & Rialto 2

The Sliding Top Plate set from Bright Tangerine provides accessory mounting via a top-mounted 15mm rod support and a sliding, quick release top cheese plate for mounting atop your Sony Rialto or Rialto 2 camera extension unit for the VENICE. This top plate kit is comprised of a sliding top plate core receiver, an ARRI-standard dovetail top plate, and a 15mm LWS rod bracket.

Fast Setup Changes

Switch effortlessly between gimbal and handheld modes or switch out handles and support accessories in a matter of seconds with our quick-release dovetail plates. This low-profile dovetail is equipped with multiple helicoiled 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads, specifically designed to fit FREEFLY M?vi and DJI Ronin 2 gimbal systems.

It also offers compatibility with various top handles, giving you the flexibility to customize according to your requirements. With a hole depth of 10mm, each thread provides excellent support and engagement for all your accessories.

Enhanced Safety Measures

Experience maximum reliability and safety on set with the addition of multiple safety mechanisms. One safety feature prevents the clamp from opening fully, giving you peace of mind even in fast-paced situations. To completely lock off the dovetail, the deadlock screw can be engaged, anchoring the dovetail plate into the central position.

Interchangeable Locking Mechanism

Choose between the preinstalled lever lock or swap it out for a sleek space-saver lock option. With a 4mm hex key, you can securely lock and unlock the clamp, eliminating the risk of accidental release.

Integrated 15mm Rod Support

The front of the top plate features integrated 15mm rod support, perfect for adding EVFs, lens motors, and other accessories. With our adjustable bracket, you have the flexibility to set it at the standard 15mm LWS height or lower it, enabling the dovetail to slide over for improved balance. The bracket can be inverted or completely removed to suit your specific needs.

Underslung Mode

For moments where you want to undersling the camera, the clamp is compatible with ARRI standard dovetails.

Film Hook Plane and Side Plate Mounting Points

On each side of the top plate is a mounting point with locating holes for optional side plates. The right side also features a relocating point for the film hook plane.

Easy Installation

To install, you'll need a 4mm hex wrench. Use the two captive 3/8" screws to secure the plate, then attach the rod support bracket with the two M4 screws.

ARRI-Standard Rosettes

The rosette is made from high-quality stainless steel, guaranteeing a secure and tight fit without any slipping. To ensure stability, each rosette is carefully pinned, eliminating any possible movement. It is compatible with any ARRI-standard rosette featuring an M6 thread.

Assembly

To install the side plate, you will require the B4004.1030 Sliding Top Plate and B4004.1033 Split Riser for the Sony Rialto. Install the side plate by aligning the locating pins with the corresponding holes on the top and bottom plates, then use a 4mm hex key to securely fasten the two captive screws.

The aluminum plate mounts using the two included screws and provides four ARRI-style 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads, eight 1/4"-20 threads, and an ARRI-standard rosette for adding a variety of accessories such as a handgrip, extension arm, mounting plates, or other gear.

The plate also features an extension with a 3/8"-16 ARRI-style accessory thread for an added mounting point for when the Rialto or Rialto 2 is in portrait mode.

Bright Tangerine Split Riser for 15mm LeftField 3 Baseplate and Sony Rialto/Rialto 2

This Split Riser from Bright Tangerine has upper and riser plates that attach to your Sony Rialto or Rialto 2 and integrate the unit with a compatible 15mm LWS baseplate. Simply adjust the position of your Rialto on the plate for optimal balance before tightening the included screws. The upper plate secures directly to the bottom of the unit and can be used independently from the riser in gimbal applications for a low-profile form factor.

Threads on either side of the upper plate allow you to integrate Bright Tangerine left and right side plates and form a rigid camera cage. The split riser is also dovetail and quick release compatible for easy transitioning from handheld to stabilized shooting.

Gimbal Ready

For gimbal and Steadicam work, the camera can be quickly detached from the baseplate providing a low profile form factor, ready to be connected to dovetails and other quick release plates with a stable 75mm wide base. By removing the baseplate, it lowers the center of gravity and reduces the overall weight of the build.

Combines with Side and Top Plates

The upper plate provides mounting points for B4004.1031 and B4004.1032 Side Plates. Combined with the B4004.1030 Sliding Top Plate, they form a rigid cage around the camera.

Perfect Alignment

Locating holes on the bottom of the upper plate, match up with the pins on the riser ensuring perfect alignment and consistency when reattaching the baseplate.

Assembly

To install the split riser, you will need a flathead screwdriver and a 4mm hex key. First, connect the riser plate to the baseplate cores using the six M4 screws with the 4mm hex wrench. Next, attach the upper plate to the base of the Rialto unit with the two short 3/8"-16 screws using a 4mm hex wrench. You can now align the upper plate to the riser, using the locating pins and securing with the two extended 3/8"-16 screws with the flathead screwdriver.

Bright Tangerine Top Handle for Select RED Cameras

This aluminum Top Handle from Bright Tangerine mounts onto the Dovetail Plate for select RED cameras using the included 1/4"-20 screws. It provides multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads and a shoe mount for adding a variety of accessories.

The handle also features two QD (quick-detach) holes to attach anchors, cables, or camera straps. The handle can slide back and forth for balancing when you unlock the lever, and there are safety stops, so it doesn't completely slide out.
