VALOI Starter Scanning Kit

Start scanning 35mm film at home with this Starter Scanning Kit from Valoi. The CS-Lite LED panel provides bright, 95 CRI backlighting with three color modes, and the 35mm film holder features a plate for slotting in the holder and avoiding side-to-side movement.

The VALOI 360 35mm Standard Film Holder is designed as an entry-point for trying out camera scanning. It can be used on its own or with the VALOI 360 Advancer. The double S-curved and precision-engineered track keeps the film flat, and the matte surface and built-in internal angles keep reflections off your scan. The design makes it quick and easy to scan film by allowing you to push the film through the holder instead of a traditional clam-shell design that requires repeated opening and closing.

The standard holder completely masks off the sprockets and offers a tight crop around the image area.

This holder includes four anti-slip sticky rubber feet to prevent the holder from sliding around if used directly on top of a flat light source.

The CS-Lite Camera Scanning Light Source with CS-Litemask from CineStill Film is a compact and cool-running LED panel designed for using a digital camera to create files from traditional color negative film, black and white negative film, and transparencies of any type. It is suitable for use with 35mm and medium-format films. It features a bright light source with a high 95+ CRI rating and has selectable color temperature modes to suit individual film types.

The included CS-LiteMask set is a 2-piece universal film carrier mask set that pairs with existing film carriers from manufactures like Negative Supply, VALOI, Lomography, and more. Masking around the edges of the film carrier helps to eliminate spill light, reducing unwanted glare and maintaining uniformity across the entirety of scans.
