Rocstor TrueReach TR7 Overview
The TrueReach TR7 4K120 USB-C to HDMI over Ethernet Extender Set from Rocstor is designed to extend a USB-C video signal for output on an HDMI display for AV environments in classrooms, gaming, TV carts, and presentation rooms. The kit includes a transmitter with a USB-C input and an RJ45 category cable output. The included receiver features an RJ45 category cable input and an HDMI 2.0 output. You can utilize the USB-C input from a variety of devices, including a smartphone, tablet, laptop, and computer.
The units support up to 4K120 video transmission up to 98' up to 4K60 video up to 197', and up to 1080p video up to 230' away when using Cat 6/6a/7 cable. Other features include plug-and-play operation, HDCP support, 3D support, EDID passthrough, 24x7 operation, embedded Dolby/DTS/LPCM audio, and zero latency. The transmitter is powered via the USB-C source, and the receiver is powered using a 5V micro-USB input.
