The XTENDEX 1-Port USB 3.0 Extender via Fiber Optic Cable from Network Technologies lets you place one USB 3.0 device up to 1148' from your computer using LC multimode fiber optic cable. This local and remote unit pair supports super-speed 5 Gb/s devices and is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. The extender features support for full 900mA current, transparent data extension, low RFI/EMI for sensitive applications, and plug-and-play setup.
NOTE: Not backward compatible with USB 2.0 or 1.1.
