Meridian Technologies ST-4D Overview
The DigiSlim ST-4D-1 Uni-Directional 4-Channel RS-232 Data Transmitter from Meridian Technologies incorporates digital encoding technology. This multimode fiber-optic module transmits 4 channels of RS-232 data over one fiber. It can be installed in Meridian card / desk chassis or 19? racking frames. The system can be configured in either star (module-to-rack) or trunking (rack-to-rack) configurations. This transceiver can be converted to a standalone module with the separately available SR-500 1-Slot Desk / Wall Mount Chassis (12 to 24 VAC).
