MC-ISK-S60-500-KNS-I is a mineral insulated thermocouple with compact KNS terminal head. Single element, junction insulated from sheath (offers protection against spurious electrical signals). 310 stainless steel provides good corrosion and oxidation resistance to suit a wide range of processes, satisfactorily operates in sulphur bearing atmospheres. Typical applications include brick & cement kilns, glass industry, heat treatment and annealing furnaces, power stations, flues, heat exchangers etc.
- Type K with KNS head, 310 stainless steel sheath
- Highly flexible, sheath can be bent/formed to suit many applications and processes
- 6.0mm diameter, insulated hot junction
- Probe temperature range from -40°C to +1100°C
- Head fitted 2-way ceramic block, cast aluminium finish, screw type lid with chain
- M16 x 1.5mm plated brass gland fitted, maximum temperature of head is 170°C
- Sensor type is type K (nickel chromium/nickel aluminium) to IEC 584
- Compact KNS head, cast aluminium finish
- 500mm probe length, IP67 rated
