ZEISS SFL 8x50 Overview
Applying the principles of the SmartFocus Lightweight line to optics with large, light-hungry objective lenses, the Zeiss 8x50 SFL Binoculars combine ease of use with the premium optical quality ZEISS is known for. The SFL line uses slightly smaller objective lenses for a significant weight reduction from previous models, making a day of nature observation or sightseeing much more comfortable. Zeiss calls its SFL 50 series "50mm optics in a 42mm frame."
You'll enjoy the generous field of view for the big picture and the 5.9' close-focus distance for a good look at that nearby bird or butterfly. Extra-low dispersion glass with the famous T* coating delivers 90% light transmission for a beautiful image, even in the low light of dusk or dawn. The SFL is waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging.
