A sound refiner allowing for the combined operation of vari-mu and optical compression and offering a sound spectrum ranging from clean precision to silky and warm vintage, the Vari-Tube Recording Channel coheres individual tracks and full mixdowns alike. In addition to the compressor, it features a microphone preamp with 48V phantom power, and a phase-reverse switch. With a Hi-Z instrument input handling impedances up to 100 kilohms, the channel strip is a powerful and versatile addition to any professional studio environment.
