Sontronics ARIA2 Overview
Deliver stunning vocal recordings with warmth, clarity, and character with the Sontronics ARIA 2, a large-diaphragm tube condenser mic with a cardioid pickup and a European-made 12AX7 tube. With a proprietary 34mm gold-sputtered capsule, this mic offers excellent results not only vocals, but also on strings, piano, acoustic guitar, and drum overheads.
The precision tuned capsule provides a silky-smooth response, while high polarization of the circuitry allows for increased sensitivity and very low self noise. Natural compression induced by the vacuum tube helps your vocals sit well in the mix with absolutely minimal mixing effort. The AIRA 2 delivers two switchable functions: a -10 dB pad for overly hot signals and a switchable 75 Hz low-cut filter for eliminating unwanted rumbles. Each AIRA 2 is handmade in the UK. The AIRA 2 includes a direct stand mount, an ABS carrying case, an external power supply, an 8-pin cable, and power cables.
Tuned for a tailored silky-smooth frequency response and consistent results, ARIA 2 is built to deliver time and time again. Upgraded internal circuitry gives you increased sensitivity, lower self-noise and a cleaner, more dynamic signal straight out of the box.
