A short-telephoto prime for Sony E-mount cameras, the Creator 85mm f/2 Lens from Mitakon Zhongyi is a portrait-length manual focus lens with a de-clicked, silent aperture ring to benefit both still and video applications. The f/2 maximum aperture enables selective focus and shallow depth of field control. The six-element, six-group design is housed within a metal lens barrel, which features printed depth of field and distance scales for greater control over focus placement.

Prime portrait-length 85mm Sony E-mount lens is compatible with full-frame mirrorless digital cameras and can also be used with APS-C-sized sensors where it will provide a 127.5mm equivalent focal length. Manual focus design is complemented by both depth of field and distance scales for using pre-focusing techniques. The f/2 aperture and ten-blade diaphragm work together to offer a pleasing out-of-focus quality when working with selective focus techniques.
