ADuC831 is a fully integrated 247KSPS data acquisition system incorporating a high performance self-calibrating multichannel 12bit ADC, dual 12bit DACs and programmable 8bit MCU on a single chip. The microcontroller core is an 8052 and therefore 8051-instruction-set compatible with 12 core clock periods per machine cycle. 62Kbytes of non-volatile flash/EE program memory are provided on-chip. 4Kbytes of non-volatile Flash/EE data memory, 256bytes RAM and 2Kbytes of extended RAM are also integrated on-chip. Typical application includes optical networking laser power control, base station systems, precision instrumentation, smart sensors, transient capture systems and DAS and communications systems.
