HMC273AMS10GE is a general purpose broadband 5bit positive control GaAs IC digital attenuator. Covering 0.7GHz to 3.8GHz, the insertion loss is typically less than 3dB. The attenuator bit values are 1(LSB), 2, 4, 8, and 16dB for a total attenuation of 31dB. Accuracy is excellent at ±0.2dB typical with an IIP3 of upto +46dBm. Five bit control voltage inputs, toggled between 0 and +3V to +5 volts, are used to select each attenuation state. It is widely used in applications such as cellular; UMTS/3G infrastructure, ISM, MMDS, WLAN, WiMAX, microwave radio & VSAT, test equipment and sensors etc.
