ADGM1004 is a wideband, single-pole, four-throw (SP4T) switch fabricated using Analog Devices, Inc., microelectromechanical system (MEMS) switch technology. This technology enables a small form factor, wide RF bandwidth, highly linear, low insertion loss switch that is operational from 0Hz/dc to 13GHz, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of RF and precision equipment switching needs. An integrated driver chip generates a high voltage to electrostatically actuate switch that can be controlled by a parallel interface and a serial peripheral interface (SPI). All four switches are independently controllable. To ensure optimum operation of the device, follow the critical operational requirements section exactly. It is used in application such as relay replacements, automatic test equipment (ATE): RF, digital, and mixed signals, load and probe boards: RF, digital, and mixed signals, RF test instrumentation, reconfigurable filters and attenuators, high performance RF switching.
- On resistance is 2.9 ohm max at (VDD = 3V to 3.6V, GND = 0V), parallel and SPI interface
- Off leakage is 0.5nA max at (RFx = 6V, RFC = -6V, TA = 25°C), independently controllable switches
- 10.8GHz is -3dB bandwidth at (RF1 to RFC and RF4 to RFC channels)
- Insertion loss is 0.45dB typ at (2.5GHz, RFC to RFx), supply voltage is 3V to 3.6V
- Isolation is 24dB typ at (2.5GHz, RFx to RFC, all channels off)
- Third-order intermodulation intercept is 67dBm typical at (TA = 25°C)
- Actuation lifetime: 1billion cycles (minimum), hermetically sealed switch contacts
- On switching time is 75µs max at (VDD = 3V to 3.6V, GND = 0V)
- 5KV for RF1 to RF4 and RFC pins, 2.5KV for all other pins, CMOS/LVTTL compatible
- Operating temperature is 0°C to 85°C, package style is 24-lead LFCSP
