Thor 16DVBS Overview
Redirect satellite signals to integrate them into your IP streaming workflow with the 16 x DVBS/S2 to IP Gateway from Thor, a single rackmount box that can convert DVBS/S2 satellite signals to IPTV signals into a TS, SPS, multicast, or unicast output stream. This unit features 16 inputs that support DVBS/S2 source signals from a satellite dish.
The unit features very low latency and two RJ45 Ethernet outputs for either IP TS or SPTS mode with converted subchannels or MPTS mode with a single stream. There are also 16 RF loop outputs on the back of the unit, and it has two ASI inputs for external TS source signals. A dedicated management Ethernet port allows you to configure and manage the unit.
