Meridian Technologies ST-1W1C1G/1C1G Overview
The DigiSlim ST-1W1C1G/1C1G-5 Digitally Encoded 1-Channel 10-Bit Video with 1-Channel Bi-directional Multi-Protocol Data and 2-Channel Bi-directional Contact Closure Transmitter Card from Meridian Technolgies transmits one real-time, simplex, 10-bit composite video channel, one full duplex contact closure channel, and one user selectable, full duplex, multi-protocol data channel, when used with compatible receiver card. It transmits signals over one singlemode fiber channel. This card supports RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 (2 or 4 wire), Manchester, and bi-phase data formats and NTSC, PAL, and SECAM video formats.
The transmitter card can be installed in Meridian's desk chassis or 19" racking frames. The system can be configured in either star (module-to-rack) or trunking (rack-to-rack) configurations. It can be converted to a standalone system with the separately available SR-500/S or SR-1000/S.
