Meridian Technologies PT-170 Overview
The 170R Series PT-170R-V33-1 1-Channel Unidirectional FM Video with 2-Channel RS-232 Data System Transmitter Card from Meridian Technologies transmits one real-time NTSC/PAL/SECAM video and two channels of data signals over a single multimode fiber channel to the PR-170R-V33-1 Receiver Card (available separately). It seamlessly transmits B&W or color video signals at a distance of up to 3.7 mi (6km).
The transmitter card can be installed in Meridian's card chassis or 19" racking frames. The system can be configured in either star (module-to-rack) or trunking (rack-to-rack) configurations. It can be converted to a standalone system with the separately available SR-500 Card Chassis.
