Add a matte box to your rig with this Misfit Six Core from Bright Tangerine. The Misfit Six features the core frame, carbon fiber shade, and a Real Stage design that is expandable from a 2- to 3-stage assembly by adding a third tray. Ultra-compact and lightweight, this matte box can go from accepting one, two, or three separately available 6 x 6" or 4 x 5.65" filter trays using its Reveal Stage technology without adding or adjusting any hardware. It also features an updated quick release top flag mount to lock or dynamically adjust with friction.
The matte box core is compatible with Bright Tangerine 6 x 6" frame-safe lens clamp adapters, allowing you to attach the matte box to a wide range of lens sizes from 80 to 162mm. You can also add optional top and side flags, available separately. The Misfit Six also supports optional rod-mount, clip-on, or swing-away bracket assemblies for more efficient lens swaps. It is also compatible with ARRI backs, mattes, and filter trays.
