LAKE PEOPLE G103-D4 Overview
Add headphone monitoring to your Dante audio network with the G103D4 Dante Headphone Amp from Lake People. This compact desktop unit offers four channels of Dante audio inputs via a standard RJ45 connector, which also supplies it with PoE (Power over Ethernet). Equipped with 24-bit / 192 kHz converters, it offers a signal-to-noise ratio >105 dB and a THD+N of only 0.002% ensuring accurate monitoring. The recovered analog signals are buffered, attenuated in the analog domain and then sent to powerful headphone amplifiers.
The amps are compatible with just about any pair of headphones available, from low to high impedance. Internal dip switches allow you to boost the gain by +6 or +12 dB, to power headphones that need it, further reduce the noise level, or maximize the travel control. The front panel features 3.5mm and 1/4" headphone jacks, which can be used simultaneously. Each amp offers an independent volume control knob. In addition to PoE, the unit can be powered via its USB-C or USB-A ports (a USB wall plug adapter is not included). Solidly built, the G103D4 is constucted with durable black anodized aluminum; the volume knobs are made from solid aluminum.
