HAKAN Pop Killer Overview
The P110-1 Pop Killer from Håkan is a pop filter, which protects against plosives. This version features a larger 1" padded antislip mounting clamp that accommodates larger diameter stands. The filter reduces breath and plosive noise while keeping the microphone's frequency response otherwise unaffected. Because the foam used for this purpose is hydrophobic, there will be no buildup of the moisture commonly associated with prolonged exposure to a person singing, talking, or screaming into a microphone. Thus, even with continued usage, there will be no degradation in tone due to the pop filter. Additionally, its gooseneck is 13" long.
