Cre8audio Assembler Vintage-Style Desktop Analog Audio Mixer

The Cre8audio Assembler is a hands-on, analog audio mixer developed in collaboration with Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers. Designed for musicians, producers, and modular synth users who crave the tonal richness of classic mixers, Assembler delivers a highly usable, vintage-style mixing experience in both standalone and Eurorack formats.

Assembler's analog signal path is crafted to provide coloration reminiscent of vintage consoles. Each channel incorporates a subtle analog tape-style saturation circuit that adds warmth and harmonic depth, making it ideal for gluing together modular synth voices, drum machines, and outboard gear into a cohesive mix.

The mixer features 10 total input channels:

• 2 complex mono channels: each includes vintage-inspired EQ, up to 20x gain, two aux sends (one assignable), pan, mute, assignable cue monitoring, a 3-stage LED level meter, and tape-style saturation.
• 4 mono channels: similar to the complex channels, with up to 20x gain, dual aux sends, pan, mute, cue monitoring, metering, and saturation.
• 2 stereo channels: up to 20x gain, assignable aux send, pan, mute, cue monitoring, metering, and saturation.

Assembler includes three mono, post-fader aux sends, and three returns (two stereo, one mono). Each return features up to 2.7x gain, mute control, cue assignment, and analog saturation, making them useful not only for effects returns, but also as additional stereo inputs when needed.

With independent cue and main output levels, users can preview and manage signals before committing them to the main mix. Each channel and return includes assignable cue monitoring and a 3-stage LED meter for visual level reference, supporting confident live and studio operation.

Assembler is designed for use in both standalone desktop setups and Eurorack systems. The included case can be removed, revealing a 40HP Eurorack-compatible module. The mixer accepts both Eurorack and line-level audio, allowing it to integrate smoothly into a wide range of workflows.

Every function on the Assembler has a dedicated control, providing an immediate, tactile interface that encourages experimentation and speed without the need for menus or shift functions.
