ANALOG DEVICES LTC3531ES6-3#TRMPBF DC-DC Switching Synchronous Buck-Boost Regulator, Fixed, 1.8V to 5.5V in, 3V out, TSOT-23-6

LTC3531ES6-3#TRMPBF is a synchronous buck-boost DC/DC converter that operates from input voltages above, below, or equal to the output voltage. The topology incorporated in the IC provides continuous transfer through all operating modes, making the product ideal for single-cell Li-Ion and multicell alkaline or nickel applications. The converters operate in Burst Mode, minimizing solution footprint and component count while providing high conversion efficiency over a wide range of load currents. This device includes two 0.5ohm N-channel MOSFET switches and two P-channel switches (0.5ohm, 0.8ohm). Quiescent current is typically 16?A, making the parts ideal for battery-powered applications. Other features include <1?A shutdown current, current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output disconnect. Applications include handheld instruments, MP3 players, handheld computers, and PDA/GPS.
