This MRC HD True Colors Hard Stop VND from Neewer provides from one to 8.6 stops of exposure adjustment and true-to-life color. By rotating the filter, you can adjust from ND2, ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32 up to ND400 to gain more control over shutter speed and exposure. The filter has integrated hard stops at both ends of the ND range, for more controlled exposure.
This filter has double-sided multilayer coatings that reduce glare and help protect your filter from water, scratches, and oil. A slim, lightweight aluminum alloy frame ensures secure mounting and removal. The package includes a cleaning cloth and carrying case.
Precisely Positioned Hard Stops
Upgraded with hard stops at both ends to limit this VND filter within 1 to 8.6 stops, dialing to the exact marked stop allows you to achieve your desired ND level for a perfectly exposed shot. Note: The mechanism of variable ND filters is based on the principle of polarization. Using the maximum aperture may result in a black X due to the VND filter's interaction with certain lenses and focal lengths.
