Kase Revolution Black & White Filter Overview
This yellow #8, 82mm Kase Wolverine Revolution B&W Filter with Magnetic Adapter can be used to increase image contrast in black & white photography applications. When using this filter, blue and green subjects are rendered in darker shades of gray while yellows, reds, and other warm tones are lightened, producing a more natural-looking outdoor look. This filter can also minimize the haze caused by the bluish cast of daylight.
This filter is made of optical glass and features a half-stop reduction in light transmission. The tempered, durable optical glass is shockproof and easy to clean. The included magnetic adapter ring lets the filter be attached or removed in just seconds and allows up to four Kase Wolverine magnetic filters to be stacked. The magnetic ring accepts standard 82mm lens caps, so it can be left on the lens.
