The CHI L.D. Meter NYX is a compact light meter with a built-in laser rangefinder, designed to make analog photography easier with older film cameras. By combining exposure metering and distance measurement in one device, it helps reduce missed shots caused by incorrect exposure or inaccurate focus distance. The NYX version features a logo-free stealth design with a 4x larger sensor for precision in extreme lighting conditions.
Its built-in laser rangefinder supports professional ranging from approximately 0.33 to 164', and laser-assisted focusing can be used in low light. It has a customizable angle of view between 7º. A 0.96" OLED screen clearly displays key settings such as aperture, distance, EV, ISO, and shutter speed. The built-in 370mAh USB-C rechargeable battery supports convenient field use. Simple button and mode dial controls keep operation easy and tidy for photographers working quickly with film cameras.
