Use the compact SmallHD ULTRA 5 Monitor with Control Kit for RED KOMODO put together by to provide professional monitoring and remote control for your RED KOMODO camera with a sharp 5" display suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The kit includes the ULTRA 5 bright 5" monitor and the RED RCP2 camera control kit for KOMODO that includes software and a LEMO-type control cable.
The indoor/outdoor 5" monitor provides 3000 cd/m? brightness, 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs, and a touchscreen 1920 x 1080 display. The RCP2 control software loads onto the monitor and allows you to control KOMODO camera functions protocol such as run/stop, color and exposure controls, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, menu control, and more via the SmallHD monitor touchscreen.
Add an ultra-bright monitor to your production rig with the SmallHD ULTRA 5 Bright Touchscreen Monitor, which features a 3000 bright cd/m? display for viewing in just about any indoor or outdoor environment. The 5" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen LCD provides a sharp image and 10-bit 4:2:2 Rec. 709 color processing, ideal for focus pulling and image analysis on set and in the field.
The ULTRA 5 features HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs, and it also features physical buttons for use in conditions that might require gloves. It can also be used to control your camera, features a 5-pin USB port for optional RED camera control, and has an Ethernet port for optional ARRI and Sony VENICE camera control. All the functionality of the monitor is available via PageOS 5, which provides advanced functionality with a simple and efficient graphical user interface.

The kit includes a software license that provides full control via RCP2 (RED Camera Protocol) over your camera functions and settings and a 5- to 9-pin LEMO-type camera control cable that connects to the back of your monitor.
The software allows you to access and control all camera functions available via RCP2, such as run/stop, color and exposure controls, status, color temperature, video format, playback, shutter, menu control, and more via the SmallHD monitor touchscreen.
