The AM10X uses a supercardioid pickup pattern, which focuses on sound from the front while reducing background noise. A built-in noise-canceling button filters out some ambient noise, such as keyboard clicks, to help maintain voice clarity.

The microphone supports both USB and XLR connections to fit different recording needs:

• USB mode: Enables noise cancellation, real-time monitoring, and gain control.
• XLR mode: Works with mixers and audio interfaces for more flexible audio adjustments. (XLR cable not included; certain features like noise cancellation and gain control are only available in USB mode.)

Adjustable Boom Arm

The included metal boom arm provides 180° vertical, 360° horizontal, and 180° head movement, allowing for flexible positioning. It is designed to hold the microphone securely without excessive movement or vibration. (Compatible with desktops up to 1.77 inches thick.)

Multifunction Control Knob

A 4-in-1 control knob allows users to manage key settings:

• Short press to turn noise cancellation on or off (Blue = ON, Cyan = OFF)
• Long press to enable gain adjustment (15 levels available)
• Rotate to adjust volume
• Turn fully left to mute (Red light indicator)

Sound Monitoring and Simple Setup

A 3.5mm headphone jack allows for real-time sound monitoring when using USB mode. The USB connection works without additional drivers, making setup straightforward on most computers and audio interfaces.
