Microtech Gefell MV400X Overview
An exciting offering from German sound technicians Microtech Gefell, the MV 400 X is an ultracompact microphone preamplifier that works with separately available Generation 4 microphone capsules to achieve different polar patterns and sound capture characteristics based on the desired recording application.
The Generation 4 Series is even smaller than the previous generation and sports a low-noise circuit design, transistor impedance converter, and transformerless output. The microphone is 48V phantom powered and features numerous available accessories to accommodate a wide range of recording and performance scenarios.
