Microtech Gefell 201258 Overview
Part of Microtech Gefell's Generation 4 modular microphone system, the M 42 is a small-diaphragm omnidirectional condenser mic capsule made for use with MV 400 preamplifiers. Its design is refined and compact, with the lightweight polyethylene membrane providing articulation across its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response while handling high SPLs up to 145 dB and producing only 13 dBA of self-noise. The M 42's omnidirectional pattern is designed to pick up sound from all directions relative to the microphone location.
