The SR25 Gen 2 (Matched Pair) from Earthworks is a stereo pair of condenser microphones designed specifically for capturing drum overheads, cymbals, and hi-hats for live performances and studio recording sessions. Each mic's supercardioid pickup pattern provides exceptional rejection of off-axis signal and noise due to room ambiance, instruments, monitor speakers, and similar sources.
Each mic features a condenser element that provides a warm, transparent sonic character with an even 20 Hz to 25 kHz frequency response. The capsule boasts an SPL rating of 148 dB, allowing exceptional reproduction of audio peaks without distortion and overload. This carefully selected matched pair of SR25 Gen 2 microphones includes two mic clips, two foam windscreen, and two storage bags.
