D'Addario PW-IRMM-01 Overview
The D'Addario's Mic Mute Infrared Sensor detects your presence near the mic and automatically mutes it when you step away for clean audio without feedback, background noise, or manual muting. Supporting Phantom power, the sensor allows you to set the infrared sensitivity from 0 to 24" allowing your performer to work without having to change their relationship with the microphone. A red LED indicator lights up when the mic is active, and goes dark when the mic is muted. A bypass button allows you to override the mute function, so the microphone is always active.
