ARX MSX 48 Overview
The ARX MSX 48 is a high-performance, passive microphone/line splitter designed to meet the demanding standards of modern audio production. Engineered with 16 channels of ultralow noise, transformer-isolated splitting, the MSX 48 is ideal for live sound, broadcast, and recording applications requiring flawless signal integrity and reliable galvanic isolation.
Passive Design, Professional Performance
With no power required, the MSX 48 provides a robust, passive signal path that accommodates both low-level microphone signals and high-level line signals without compromise. Each of the 16 input channels is hardwired to a direct Main/FOH output (phantom power compatible), and also features two separate transformer-isolated outputs: a Monitor split on the front panel and an Auxiliary split on the rear?perfect for feeds to recording trucks, broadcast rigs, or monitoring systems.
Transformer-Isolated Signal Path
State-of-the-art internal transformers ensure total galvanic isolation, minimizing noise and ground-loop issues. Separate windings on the Monitor and Auxiliary outputs prevent signal interaction, providing clean and stable distribution to multiple destinations.
Built for the Real World
The MSX 48 is housed in a rugged, all-steel chassis for superior shielding and long-term durability. It uses high-quality Amphenol XLR connectors with gold-plated contact pins to maintain signal reliability and reject RF interference over time.
