It can also reduce atmospheric haze when shooting landscapes and in other outdoor conditions. The 2-stop neutral density filter reduces the exposure in the entire image area. The added density makes it possible to slow down shutter speeds for added image blur to enhance the set of movement, which is useful when shooting sports or moving water. The multicoated UV filter is made of Japanese optical glass and coated with a blue film to ensure good light transmittance (average light transmittance is 94%), providing improved clarity and color balance. It reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor of the camera. It is especially suitable for preventing overexposure under large apertures, long exposure under small apertures, and video shooting. The kit also comes with a lens cleaning cloth and a carrying pouch.
