Darkglass Electronics DAB1K Overview
Provide yourself with signature Microtubes saturation in a highly compact form factor with the Microtubes B1K from Darkglass Electronics. Sporting simple knob and ring control (Drive and Level) like most Spot Series pedals, the B1K offers a surprising range of tone sculpting tools for the modern bassist.
With Level and Drive, set the overdrive volume and saturation level respectively. Use the two small knobs behind the magnetic lid on the bottom of the pedal for controlling Tone (a variable low-pass filter from 3 to 8 kHz) and Blend (a wet/dry mix control). With two convenient DIP switches, you can also flip on Grunt for a bass boost that thickens your tone and MBoost which provides a subtle 6 dB boost to midrange frequencies from 300 Hz to 1 kHz, letting you cut through the mix better.
