Cornerstone Music Nero Stacked Fuzz and Overdrive Pedal

The Cornerstone Nero is a unique pedal that combines a rich fuzz circuit with a built-in Gladio SC overdrive, activating both simultaneously for a stacked drive effect. This design offers a range of tones, from gritty fuzz to full-bodied overdrive, all within a compact unit.

The Nero features two independent bias controls, referred to as Voices, allowing players to switch between different tonal characteristics. The first half of the rotation provides a gritty, rough sound, while the latter half offers a fuller overdrive tone. These voices can be toggled with a dedicated footswitch or an external latching footswitch, making it suitable for various pedalboard setups.

A Comp knob manages the overall compression by blending the fuzz signal with the Gladio SC section in parallel. This control allows for fine-tuning the pedal's dynamic response, offering a range of textures and sustain levels.

Unlike typical fuzz pedals that require placement at the beginning of the signal chain, the Nero boasts a 1 megaohm input impedance. This feature allows it to be placed anywhere on the pedalboard without compromising tone.

The combination of fuzz and overdrive circuits enables the Nero to produce a variety of sounds, from gated fuzz to smooth overdrive, accommodating different playing styles and musical genres.
